Mrs. Kathleen Elizabeth Moore Wright, 67, of Stony Point, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 26, 2015, at her home. She was born September 12, 1948, in Buffalo, NY and was the daughter of the late Charles F. Moore and Joan H. Quaintance Laity. She graduated from Starpoint Central High School in NY. She retired from Industrial Distribution Group where she worked as a buyer and tool room attendant. Kathy was a member of South River Baptist Church. She loved her church and especially her Sunday School class. They welcomed her like family from the very first visit. She loved to crochet and was in the process of making blankets for two of her grandchildren. Her grandchildren, Alec, Adrianna, and Austin were her pride and joy. She spent countless hours bragging about them. Kathy was never one to ask for help. She was however always ready and willing to bless others. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Anderson and Lee Scott and one brother,George Moore. Left to cherish her memory in addition to her 12 grandchildren are two sons, Todd C. Eggert of Winston Salem and Wade H. Eggert of Lockport, NY and one daughter, April E. Huntington (Carl) of Stony Point along with two brothers, Charles Moore (Machelle), Richard Moore and one sister, Becky Weaver (Earl), A memorial service celebrating the life of Kathy Wright will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at South River Baptist Church with Dr. Chris Thompson and Rev. Larry Whicker officiating. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, Kathy would want you to give to your local church missions to spread the Love of Jesus Christ.
