Karon Jane Deleruyelle

Karon Jane Deleruyelle, 74, of Statesville, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at the Gordon Hospice House. She was born on January 24, 1942 in Howell, Michigan to the late Donald and Gloria Murphy Rawlings. Mrs. Deleruyelle was a graduate of Brighton High School in Michigan and Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, Florida. She was retired CNA and most of her career was in nursing. Karon was a member of St. Peter's Anglican Orthodox Church. Left to cherish her memory are a son, Douglas Deleruyelle of Green Cove Springs, FL.; a daughter, Laura Deleruyelle of Palmetto, FL.; and two sisters, Margie Harrison of Las Vegas, NV and Ruth Fultz (Don) of Statesville. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, September 30, 2016 at St. Peter's Angelican Orthodox Church with Rev. Don Fultz officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends at the church from 10:00 until 11:00 am prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625 or to St. Peter's Angelican Orthodox Church, 2228 Wilkesboro Hwy.
