Mrs. Juneava Maxine Culbreath, 81, of Statesville, passed away Monday, November 25, 2013, at the Glenn Kaiser Hospice House in Salisbury following a lengthy illness. Born June 1, 1932 in Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late James and Camilla McCall Arnold. Mrs. Culbreath was married to Gonzlee Culbreath, who preceded her in death in 1992. She was formally employed as a counselor with the House of Virtue and was a member of Christian Outreach of the Piedmont. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Culbreath was preceded in death by a son, James Anthony Arnold, sister, Joyce Constance Heaggens, daughter-in-law, Wanda Culbreath, and a niece, Camilla Loretta Heaggens. Mrs. Culbreath is survived by seven sons, Derrick Arnold of Cleveland, NC, Gonzlee Culbreath, Jr of Statesville, Allan Culbreath (Victoria) of New York, Timothy Culbreath (Shantisa) of Salisbury, Leonard Culbreath (Sharon) of Maryland, Richard Culbreath (Viola) of Texas, George Culbreath of Greensboro and Daniel Culbreath (Contesa) of Statesville along with a daughter, Judy Chambers of Statesville. She is further survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Culbreath will be conducted 1:30 pm Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Christian Outreach of the Piedmont with Pastor Glenn Usry officiating. The family will visit with friends from 12:00 until 1:30 pm at the church. Burial will follow in the Belmont Cemetery.
