Beloved wife of William B. Gates (deceased). Loving daughter of Adolph J. and Marian L. Chiodo (nee Forgerson); both deceased. Leaves sisters Vickie A. Chiodo-Maung and Connee M. Choi to mourn. June was beloved by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives. She lived in Cleveland and Euclid, Ohio, until she moved to Statesville, North Carolina, where she leaves behind many dear friends. She passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Visitation and memorial sharing at Nicholson Funeral Home, 135 East Front St., Statesville, NC, on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, from 2:00 to 3:30 and 7:00 to 8:30. Please feel free to bring a memory about June and a photo to share. Additional services and burial will take place in Ohio at a later date.
