Judson Larue Collins

Judson "LaRue" Collins - 63, of Sophia, North Carolina, passed Wednesday, February 2, 2022. He was born July 20, 1958, in Marion, South Carolina, to the late Judson Bernard Collins and Virginia Lee (Gerrald) Collins. LaRue worked for Ornamental Mouldings in Industrial Maintenance for many years. He married Ronda Lynn Baker in 1995. He enjoyed spending time at T & S Auto and taking trips to Myrtle Beach. He also enjoyed yard shopping and old school cars. In addition to his parents, LaRue was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Stroud, and granddaughter, Skyleigh Collins. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 27 years, Ronda Baker Collins; children, Joseph Collins (Crystal) of Archdale, North Carolina, Misty Collins of Lexington, North Carolina, Crystal Dykes (Jimmy) of Rockledge, Georgia, and Daniel Norris (Sheryl) of Kernersville, North Carolina; 13 grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Gallimore (Robbie) of Thomasville, North Carolina; brother, James Baker (Yvonne) of Trinity, North Carolina; and his baby girl, Tiny. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Friends and family may pay your respects and share your condolences at the home. Monetary donations to a charity or organization of your choosing are requested by family in lieu of flowers to honor LaRue.
