Judith Paulene Wilkerson

Judith Paulene Wilkerson was born in Bayshore, New York on December 11, 1944, to Irving and Bertha Brewster. She married Roosevelt P. Wilkerson, Sr. in December of 1963. She retired from the VA Hospital as a supervisor of housekeeping after 30 years.

Judy was a faithful servant of Jehovah since 1992. She loved to read often finishing a book in one day. Her favorite genre was mysteries. She was a huge fan of classic cars and collected all types of model cars. One of her favorite things to do was spend time with her grandkids and family, telling them stories about how she grew up with her family and friends. She also enjoyed researching our family's history.

Judy passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina at the age of 78. She is survived by her sister, Tamara Quick, and her children; Peter Jr. and Pam Wilkerson, John and Ruth Wilkerson, Lisa Minott, and Tiffany and Josue Umana.

Grand children, Ricky Wilkerson Jr., Leah Barnett, Lakia, and Sydney Wilkerson; Anthony Barksdale, Simone and, Treyvon Wilkerson, Malcom Minott, Cameron, Isaiah, and Jamie Umana; and two great grandchildren, Nadia Minott and Taraji Barksdale.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roosevelt Wilkerson Sr. On October 4, 2016, Siblings; Adabel Kearny, Berth Ross, Gail Williams, Paul Brewster, and Kevin Brewster. Granddaughter: Christine Wilkerson.
