Juanita Flood

Deloris Juanita Bone Flood, 89, of Statesville, died Sunday, February 27, 2011, at Gordon Hospice House. She was born January 20, 1922 in Nash County and was the daughter of the late Lee and Lily Joyner Bone. She was married to Rev. John Flood, who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Flood was also preceded in death by a daughter, Arkie L. Church, a daughter-in-law, and great-grandson. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra M. Elledge (Wayne), son Enoch M. Flood (Shannon), son-in-law, Marvin Church, all of Statesville, along with nine grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Mt. Sinai Evangelical Methodist Church with Rev. David Walters and Rev. Tom Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will assemble at the home of Wayne and Sandra Elledge, 234 Josey Road, Statesville, N.C.
