Jr. Allen Freeze

Mr. Robert Allen "Big Al" Freeze, Jr., 26, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 3, 2011. Mr. Freeze was born November 27, 1985 in Statesville and was the son of Robert Allen Freeze, Sr., and Rebecca Little Freeze. He attended West Iredell High School and graduated from Cornerstone Christian Academy. On March 13, 2010 he married Heather Sigmon Freeze who survives. Mr. Freeze was employed with B&B Automotive with his dad's business where he worked as a mechanic. Mr. Freeze was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. Allen was a loving husband, father and son. He never met a stranger. He loved anything to do with the outdoors from hunting to fishing and target shooting. Allen had a huge heart full of lots of love and compassion for everyone, especially his family. He was so proud to become a father to his precious baby boy. He will be missed by so many. Heaven has gained a new beautiful angel. We are thankful for all of the memories and time that we shared with Allen. Mr. Freeze was preceded in death by his grandmother, Hattie Little, paternal grandparents, Ralph and Polly Freeze along with his grandfather, Jack Little, Jr. In addition to his parents and wife, Heather S. Freeze, Mr. Freeze is also survived by his nine week old son, Lane Allen Freeze of Statesville. He is also survived by his sister, Melanie F. Brown (Donnie) along with their children, Mallorie and Addie Brown all of Mocksville; father and mother-in-law, Glenn and Teresa Sigmon; step-grandmother, Becky Little and brother and sister-in-law, Josh and Amanda Fisher and their child, Greyson Fisher, all from Statesville.. He is further survived by his godson, Thomas McHenry of Huntersville along with uncles, aunts and numerous friends he referred to as "buddies". Funeral services for Mr. Freeze will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Landmark Church of God with Pastor Cowles Bristol and Pastor Jack Little, III officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 5:30 until 8:30 Friday evening at Nicholson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Allen Freeze Memorial Fund, c/o State Employees Credit Union, 1742 Wilkesboro Road, Statesville, N.C. 28625.
