Joyce Beatrice Campbell

Joyce Beatrice Campbell, 83, of Statesville, died Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Gordon Hospice House. Born in Iredell County on July 22, 1932, she was a daughter of the late William Preston Campbell and Maggie Josey Campbell. Joyce was a member of Christ-Boulevard United Methodist Church where she enjoyed her circle group and the Jolly Seniors group. She was retired from the textile industry. Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Martin of Statesville, grandchildren, Elizabeth Matisko (Tom, Jr.) and R. Adam Martin and great grandchildren: Gabrielle Martin, Donovahn Martin, Jayne Harris, Owen Matisko and Evie Matisco. Also surviving is a sister, Doris Rumple along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at Christ-Boulevard United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Thompson and Rev. Ron Daub officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 Thursday at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.
