Josh Hoover

Joshua Ryan Hoover, 25, of Cleveland, N.C. passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011, as a result of an automobile accident. Mr. Hoover was born April 25, 1986 in Cleveland County and was the son of Julie Ramsey Tate. He was a graduate of South Iredell High School's class of 2004 and was employed with Southern States where he worked as a system operator. Josh was big hearted and free spirited. He made every minute count. His most precious moments were spent with his son, Carter. His family extended to a multitude of friends. He will be missed. We love you Josh. In addition to his mother, Julie Tate and her husband Donald Tate, both of Cleveland, Josh is also survived by his son, Carter Mason Cook and Carter's mother, Kaitlan Nichole Cook, both of Troutman; one brother, Michael Stephen Hoover of Hiddenite; one sister, Stephanie Elizabeth Hoover of Statesville. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Joyce Parker Ramsey and an uncle, John Mark Ramsey, both of Cleveland. He is further survived by two nieces, Arianna Rayne Hoover of Cleveland and Haylee Dawn Nicole Hall of Statesville. A time to celebrate the life of Josh Hoover will be on Tuesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home.
