Jose Isabel Ortega Chavez

Jose Isabel Ortega Chavez, 22, of Statesville, died Tuesday, July 13, 2021.

He was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on July 20, 1998, to Atanacia Chavez and Jose Isabel Ortega Sosa.

Jose loved to ride his motorcycle and loved his truck. He enjoyed music and singing karaoke.

Those left to cherish her memory are his mother, Atanacia Chavez, his father, Jose Isabel Ortega Sosa, two sisters, Aidelis Aguirre (Erick) and Kelly Ortega Chavez, a brother, Brandon Ortega Chavez. He is further survived by his girlfriend, Karen Murcia along with many extended family members and friends.

Funeral Mass for Jose will be held Monday, July 19, 2021, at 11:00 am at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, July 17, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home and again on Monday morning from 10:00 am to 10:45 am prior to Mass.

Memorials may be given to the family to help with funeral costs. Nicholson Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Chavez family.



Jos Isabel Ortega Chvez, de 22 aos, de Statesville, falleci el martes 13 de julio de 2021.

Naci en Harrisonburg, Virginia el 20 de julio de 1998, hijo de Atanacia Chvez y Jos Isabel Ortega Sosa.

A Jos le encantaba andar en moto y le encantaba su troca. Le gustaba la m&uacutesica y cantar karaoke.

Los que quedan para atesorar su memoria son su madre, Atanacia Chvez, su padre, Jos Isabel Ortega Sosa, dos hermanas, Aidelis Aguirre (Erick) y Kelly Ortega Chvez, un hermano, Brandon Ortega Chvez. Adems, le sobrevive su novia, Karen Murcia, junto con muchos familiares y amigos.

La misa funeral por Jos se llevar a cabo el lunes 19 de julio de 2021, a las 11:00 am en la Capilla de la Funeraria Nicholson. El entierro seguir en el cementerio de Oakwood. La familia recibir a los amigos el sbado 17 de julio de 2021 por la noche, de 5:00 pm a 8:00 pm en Nicholson Funeral Home y nuevamente el lunes por la maana de 10:00 am a 10:45 am antes de la misa.

Se pueden dar memoriales a la familia para ayudar con los costos funerarios. Nicholson Funeral Home tiene el honor de servir a la familia Chvez.
