Jonathan Tyrone Bridges

Jonathan Tyrone Bridges, 22, of Copperas Cove, Texas, and formerly of Statesville, died March 11, 2015. Born in Winston-Salem, he was raised in Statesville where he resided on N. Elm St. He moved to Killeen, Texas in 2006 where he attended Manor Middle School and Killeen High School. He also had attended Statesville High School and graduated from Copperas Cove High School in 2011. Jonathan attended Word Of Life Church Of The Living God International in Copperas Cove, Texas. He was preceded in death by his Uncle Damond Kincaid. Survivors include his mother, Brenita Bridges of Copperas Cove, Texas, his father, Chad Tyrone Kincaid, Sr., of Lenoir, his grandparents: Brenton and Nellie Torrence of Statesville, Brentt Kincaid of Lenoir and Lorraine Kincaid of Columbia, S.C., his siblings: Chad Tyrone Kincaid, Jr. of Morganton, Ladaysha Bridges and Kathryn Bridges both of Coppereas Cove, Texas, Izzy Davis, Chris Scott and McKinley Witherspoon all of Lenoir along with aunts and uncles: Lafrieda Torrence of Richmond, Va., Joy Diggs (Cedrico Diggs) of Copperas Cove, Texas, Talisha Bridges (Ashley Kelly) Mooresville, Mary Torrence (James Stan) of Statesville, Chris Torrence (Nikki) of Statesville, Litreece Bristol of Lenoir, John Elis Kincaid of Morganton and Shauntel Kincaid of Winston-Salem. Also surviving are beloved cousins: Labriant Bridges (USAF), Kalisha Torrence of Statesville, Gabrielle Diggs of Texas, Devante Knox of Statesville, Jamison Kelly Bridges of Mooresville, Tia Torrence, and Ledonte Turner. Additional survivors include one niece, Katana Bridges and very special friends: Morissa Cosper, Kevin Coley, Ricardo Artis and the RBN Family along with a slew of other family and friends. Services celebrating Jonathan's life will be conducted on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 2:00 at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Burrel Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Belmont Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service at Nicholson Funeral Home.
