Johnny Robert Robinette, 64, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 27, 2015. He was born on April 19, 1951 in Iredell County to the late Robert Partee Robinette and Julia Little Robinette. Mr. Robinette was a graduate of North Iredell High School and worked in the warehouse for Hoke Distributing, Inc. He was an active member of Yadkin Baptist Church who loved his Lord and reading the Bible. Special times were spending time with his family, especially hunting and fishing with his brother Larry. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Glenn A. Harbin, Jr. Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Judy Harbin; a brother, Larry Robinette (Johannah); a nephew and niece, Chad and Heather Robinette, who he loved deeply; and special great niece and nephew, Miranda and Matthew Harbin. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Yadkin Baptist Church with Pastors Tony Bunton and J. B. Parker, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will meet with friends following the service.
