Joey Privette

Mr. Joey Wendall Privette, 57, of Statesville, passed away, Sunday, October 19, 2014 at his home following a lengthy illness. Mr. Privette was born January 21, 1957 in Statesville and was the son of Franklin Delano Privette and Margaret Alene White. He attended Statesville City Schools and loved the outdoors, country music and motorcycles. He is survived by a daughter, Kary Marie Riggs of Statesville, four siblings, James Funderburk (Brenda) of Statesville, Deborah Funderburk of Gastonia, Rhonda Herman of Statesville, Thomas Hendren (Lynda) of Wilkesboro and 14 nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2014 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with the friends receiving after the service. Burial will be held at a later date. Nicholson Funeral Home is serving the family.
