Joan Graham

Mrs. Joan Marie Howell Graham, 79, of Mooresville, NC, passed away Friday, May 9, 2014, at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House. Mrs. Graham was born in Long Island, NY on November 27, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Jesse Howell and Mary Young Howell. She was a graduate of Norwalk High School in Norwalk, CT. On April 13, 1962, she married Charles Edward Graham, who survives. Mrs. Graham was a medical secretary for Dr. Appleby in Norwalk, CT before retiring. In addition to her husband, Charles, Mrs. Graham is survived by two daughters, Barbara Babash (Jeffrey) of Norwalk, CT and Heidi Hendricks of Winchester, VA along with one step-daughter, Emily Pennebaker of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She is also survived by two grandsons, Mathew Hendricks and William Pennebaker along with two sisters. There will be no formal services. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Levine & Dickson Hospice House, 11900 Vanstory Dr., Huntersville, NC 28078.
