Jimmy Moore

James "Jimmy" Paul Moore, 54, of Statesville, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012, peacefully surrounded by his family at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He was born March 23, 1957 in Iredell County to Evelyn D. Moore Goodin and the late J. Clyde Moore. Jimmy was a welder by trade until he was disabled. He loved fishing, gardening, his family, his dog Buddy, but most of all, his wife Victoria. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by is daughter, Kisha Moore, step-grandson Blake Robinson, nephew Eric Lockman and step-father Junior Goodin. He is survived by his wife, Victoria, son Kevin Overcash, sister and husband, Linda and Ralph Shirkey, step-son and wife, Joseph and Amanda Robinson. He is further survived by step-grandchildren, Melody and Brennen Robinson along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and his best friend Buddy. A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Northview Church of Christ, 2615 Amity Hill Road, Statesville.
