Jerry Dean Boger Sr.

Jerry Dean Boger, Sr., 78, of Statesville, died Friday, May 7, 2021.

He was born in Davie County, NC on November 14, 1942 to the late Robert Lee Boger and Margaret Anderson Boger.

Jerry was the owner and operator of Jerry's Auto Haul. Trucking was his life, and he knew most everything that could be known about it. He loved giving directions and according to his family, he was the "original GPS". He loved animals, cars, 4-wheelers and traveling.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 24 years, Kathy Crocker Boger, sons, Bobby Boger (Beverly), Jerry Allen Boger (Teresa), Dale Boger (Cindy), Donnie Boger (Angie), Dean Boger (Lisa), daughters, Lori Boger (Jason Sapp), Brea Nance (Scott), Kara Levesque, 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and his fur babies, Sam and Roxy.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 4:00 pm at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bryan Boger officiating. Visitation will follow immediately after the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lake Norman Humane Society, PO Box 3937, Mooresville, NC 28117. Nicholson Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Boger family. Previous Events
