Jennifer Amanda Dewey

Jennifer Amanda Dewey, 36 of Statesville, died Sunday, July 30, 2023.

She was born in Vineland, New Jersey on November 23, 1986, to David Dewey and Terri Bevacqua Dewey.

Jennifer worked at Chewy in Salisbury. She had loved spending time with her friends. More than anything else, she loved her son, Jaxson. He was her world, and she was his. She loved taking him and her nephews to the park and swimming. Jennifer could be a firecracker when she wanted to. She had a kind heart that loved so big!

Her grandparents, John and Marge Godish preceded Jennifer in death, and were there to meet her.

Those left to cherish her memory, include her parents, David and Terri Dewey, son, Jaxson Azaih Murdock, a sister, Michelle Dewey Blackwell, three nephews, Leevon Dewey, Nicholas Tucker, Kyrin Dewey, grandfather, James Bevacqua, Sr., a half-sister, Stephanie Holden, aunts and uncles, Jimmy and Susan Bevacqua, and John and Maria Bevacqua, special family members, Tom, Tracey, Mickey and Maddy Bratton and Kelly Bracco, a special friend, Avis Black, best friends, Jessica and Jennifer Simon, close friends, Ryan and Misty Anderson, her fur babies, Luke, Duke and Everest, and several cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, August 11, 2023, at 2:00 pm in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Lewis officiating. The family will speak to friends following the service.
