Jeanette Wiggins

Jeanette Marie Mikkelsen Wiggins, 77, of Statesville, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Wiggins was born in Georgetown County, SC on January 27, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Harry Mikkelsen and Martha Lynn Finklea Mikkelsen Bates. She was a graduate of Macedonia High School and she was married to Robert H. Wiggins, who preceded her in death on July 5, 2002. Mrs. Wiggins was a homemaker. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Mikkelsen. Mrs. Wiggins is survived by one daughter, Debra W. Foster of Charlotte and two sons, Kevin Wiggins (Amye) of Taylorsville and Chris Wiggins of Statesville. She is also survived by three sisters, Joyce M. Davis of Pinopolis, SC, Martha Lynn M. Dupree (Henry) of Moncks Corner, SC, and Nancy M. Hanna (Phil) of Bonneau, SC. Six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. No formal services are scheduled at this time.
