Jean Hagy

Myra Jean Hagy, 74, of Statesville, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Gordon Hospice House following a lengthy illness. Ms. Hagy was born December 5, 1938 in Carlisle, PA and was the daughter of the late Ira Washington and Esther May Getter Hurley. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was retired from the Tharpe Company where she worked as an assembler. Ms. Hagy is survived by a daughter, Luann Nigrelli (Michael) of Statesville, one grandson, Craig Nigrelli (Kathy), and two great-granddaughters, Lilly Rose and Hailey, all of Statesville. She is further survived by two sons, Troy Hagy (Leesa) of Statesville and Rob Hagy (Kim) of PA, along with 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted 4:00 pm Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Gary West officiating. Burial will follow at a later date.
