James Kenneth Keller

My dear father, James Kenneth (Sonny) Keller was called to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, November 23, 2015. He was born on September 15, 1933 in Iredell County to the late Pressly Lee and Cecil Marie Jackson Keller. Mr. Keller was educated in Iredell County Schools and worked for B.W. Overcash Trucking until his retirement. He was of Baptist Faith and Daddy was a good Father and Grandfather. He was a caring man who moved in and cared for his Mother until her passing. He will be greatly missed by all of us. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Faye Keller who passed January 16, 1965 and one brother, Perry Lee Keller, who died September 3, 2015 Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Celena K. Lippard; a grandson, Alex Bryson Lippard; ten siblings, Betty Pendergrass, Marvin Keller, Melvin Keller (Betty), Pansy Lackey, Jackie Keller (Peggy), Linda Rimmer (Doug), Jerry Keller (Jackie), Wayne Keller (Debbie), Billy Keller (Shelby), and Nancy Duke (Pete); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Keller will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be nephews, Michael Barker, Dino Lackey, Roger Duke Jr., Allen Keller, Bryan Roberts, Jermy Lackey, and his grandson, Alex Lippard. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 at Nicholson Funeral Home.
