James 'Jim' Dewayne Jackson

James "Jim" DeWayne Jackson - 63, of Kernersville, NC passed Saturday, December 11, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born January 27, 1958, in Wayne County, MI to Helen Etta Blount and the late James Hobert Jackson. He was an Owner Operator Truck Driver. Jim loved woodworking, camping, spreading the Gospel and spending time with his family. He was a member of Full Gospel Freewill Holiness Church where he met the love of his life. In addition to his father, James Hobert Jackson, Jim was preceded in death by his bonus dad, Doug Cowan, and two siblings, Fran and Dianna. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Carolyn Blevins Jackson; mother, Helen Cowan; children, Melissa (Richard) Davis, Tina (Alan) Blaszczyk, John Smith, Kim (Cody) Byer, and Eddie (Nicole) Campbell; grandchildren, Tyler Bell, Braedyn Smith, Riley Kirby, Donavan Davis, Kloe Davis, Gracie Davis, Mackenzie Blaszczyk, AJ Blaszczyk, Elijah Davis, and Peyton Byer; siblings, Michael Jackson, Charmaine Jackson, Brenda Jackson, Shirley Jackson, Cindy Wilson, and Rita Younce. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 14th, from 5:00PM to 6:00PM at Full Gospel Freewill Holiness Church, 1021 W Holly Hill Road, Thomasville, NC 27360. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 14th, at 6:00PM at Full Gospel Freewill Holiness Church with Pastor William Hutchins and Pastor Josh Sellers officiating.
