James Edwin Elliott

James Edwin Elliott, 75, of Statesville, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Gordon Hospice House. He was born in Iredell County on January 27, 1941 to the late Paul H. and Ruby Hoover Elliott. Mr. Elliott was the retired owner/operator of Jimmy Elliott Painting. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Alisa Elliott; a son, Jimmy Elliott Jr.; two grandchildren, Lexie and Logan Elliott; and one brother, Lonnie Elliott (Carolyn). A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. J.B. Parker, Jr. officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gordon Hospice House, 2341 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
