James Edward Thomas

THOMASVILLE- Mr. James Edward Thomas, 81, of Thomasville, NC passed away December 25, 2020 at Pelican Health Thomasville. The son of the late Harold and Cordell Houston Thomas, Jimmy was employed by Thomasville Furniture for 14 years before falling ill. He now resides and is walking and resting in a better place. Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife Ada Montgomery Thomas of Thomasville, four step-children Deborah Deschampes (Julius) of Thomasville, Wendell Palmer, Jr. (Kim) of East Spencer, OBryant Palmer of Elizabethton, NJ, and Andre Palmer (Tanya) of Thomasville, three brothers Herman Houston (Barbara ), Thurman Houston (Ruth), and Tommy Lee Charles, 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 7 sisters-in-law, and 3 brothers-in law, 2 nephews Bobby and Alan Houston,2 nieces Angie Thomas and Sheena Houston, cousins Francine Frazier and Evelyn Frazier, special cousin Tom Silers, and numerous other cousins. There will be a private burial for Mr. Thomas in City Cemetery of Thomasville
