Jackie Sherrill

Mrs. Jacqueline Moose Sherrill, 85, of Troutman, NC passed away, Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Autumn Care of Statesvile. Mrs. Sherrill was born Feb. 13, 1926 in Mecklenburg County and was the daughter of the late Henry Daniel David Moose and Edna Mae Bailey Moose. She attended Catawba and Iredell County Schools and on December 25, 1949, she was married to C. George Sherrill, who survives of the home. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Sherrill is survived by three sons, Kenneth Sherrill (Karen) of Troutman, Stephen Ponder Sherrill (Sherri) of Cherryville, David Sherrill of Concord, two daughters, Karen Williamson of Statesville, Vanessa Jones (Tim) of Statesville, one brother, Hal David Moose, two sisters, Geneva Sherrill, Patricia Rathbone, 10 grandchildren, Catherine Loosier (Bill), Caleb Sherrill, Carrie Sherrill, Jessica McCurdy (Chad), Alexis Lambert (Kris), John Williamson (Nicole), Tom Williamson (Amber), Amanda Jones (Justin), Ashlee Jones, Grayson Sherrill and four great grandchildren, Miranda McCurdy, Austin McCurdy, Jakob Lambert and Chloe Lambert. Mrs. Sherrill was preceded in death by 2 brothers, H.D. and Hasten Moose ,1 sister, Sybil Morrow and a son-in-law Gene Williamson Private graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Wesley Chapel U.M.C. with Rev. David Reep and Rev. Jim Faggert officiating. The family will receive friends on Sat. from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church.
