Hubert Lewis Moore

Mr. Hubert Lewis Moore, 69, of Statesville, passed away, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Moore was born June 18, 1945 in Statesville, NC and was the son of the late Henry Eli Moore and Gertha Money Moore. He attended Iredell County schools and was retired as part owner of Lewis Moore Roofing. He was married to the late Joan Allison Moore, who passed away on December 4, 2002. Mr. Moore is survived by two sons, Jeff Moore and wife, Crystal of Statesville, Kevin Moore and wife, Melissa of Statesville, five grandchildren, Jacob, Emily, Kristina, Alex and Gabriel Moore and two sisters, Stella Call and Rose Lee Campbell all of Statesville. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015 in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronald Looney officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Nicholson Funeral Home.
