Houston Alexander Finley

Houston Alexander Finley, 18, of Statesville, died February 12, 2021. He was born in Catawba County on July 30, 2002 and was a son of Dr. Robert Douglas Finley and Ginger Guy Finley. Houston attended South Iredell High School. He was a member of Western Avenue Baptist Church and was a child of God. He enjoyed woodworking, blacksmithing and being outdoors where he loved hiking, fishing, archery and hunting. He ran cross country and participated in track and field at South Iredell High School and Northview I.B. schools. He loved to read and research and was a very humble person.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Jackson Finley, his maternal grandparents, Susan L. Aldridge and Dale Guy and his paternal grandparents Robert C. and Barbara Ann Finley., along with an uncle, Kelly Guy.

Funeral services will be private.
