Hollis Michael Hill

Hollis Michael Hill - 67 of Thomasville, North Carolina, passed Tuesday, January 18, 2022. He was born in Denton, North Carolina on May 16, 1954, to the late Hollis Elroy Hill and Janet (Starrett) Hill. He was a great provider, loving husband, and dad. He had love for all people. Hollis enjoyed fishing on the boat, hunting, and had a love for animals, especially dogs, squirrels, and deer. He loved watching a great Western movie at any time. Hollis worked for Councill Craftsman Furniture in Denton for 16 years before his retirement. He married Sonya O. Benton and they were married for 31 years. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Sonya O. (Benton) Hill; children, Tracie Renee Vick (husband Lane) of Davidson County, Tammy Meadows of Randolph County, Holly Michelle Lewis (husband Mark) of Davidson County, Sonya K Gilmore (husband Steve) of Roanoke, Virginia, Gary T Reaves (wife Pam) of Roanoke, Virginia, and Cindy L. Kelly of Thomasville, North Carolina; brother, Jerry Don Hill (wife Myra) of High Point, North Carolina; sisters, Lydia (Hill) Creech (husband Jeff) of Thomasville, North Carolina, and Pamela Dorsett (husband James) of Denton, North Carolina; 11 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
