Herman Silas Solomon, Jr.

GREENSBORO-Mr. Herman Silas Solomon, Jr., 49, of Greensboro, NC passed away at his home on April 3, 2021. Mr. Solomon had been employed as a locksmith for E-Z Towing for 13 years and he sincerely loved his work. Herman was a people person and he loved to pick and joke with them. He liked spending his free time with his grandchildren and hanging with his friends and family. Mr. Solomon was preceded in death by his father Herman Silas Solomon, Sr. and his brother James Solomon. Left to cherish his memories are his mother Melvie Lashley Solomon, five children Katie Moore (Ryan) of Summerfield, Shane Solomon of Stoneville, Brianna Solomon of Stoneville, Derek Solomon of Stokes County, and Jason Solomon of Stokes County, two grandchildren Perry and Rylan Moore of Summerfield, and sisters Janice Stone (Rick), Nellie Smith (David), Gail Gentry and Mary Ann. A memorial service for Mr. Solomon is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Glenwood Presbyterian Church in Greensboro, NC.
