Herman Eugene Parlier

Herman Eugene Parlier, born January 6th, 1930, was reunited in heaven with his beloved Miss Betty on Tuesday October 16th, 2018.



Herman served in the Navy and Navy Reserves as a young man. His final-and favorite job- was working for Rental Uniform Service. His years with the company brought him great pride, the opportunity to travel, and the mutual appreciation and respect for all his coworkers.



Herman was predeceased by his parents, William Ray and Vena Parlier, his brother Henry, his two sisters Mildred and Shirley and his wife and best friend, Betty Sherrill Parlier.



He is survived by his son Stephen Parlier, daughter Cathy (David) Howell, 5 grandchildren Andy Howell, Lauren (Mike) Isgett, and James, Mary, and Martha Parlier, 3 great grandchildren Kylie, Macie, and Nathan Isgett ,sister-in-law Lucille Parlier and numerous nieces and nephews.



Services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday October 20th at Wesley Memorial UMC in Statesville. Visitation will be at 1:15 prior to the service. A private burial will follow.
