Harvey Lee Waddell, Jr

Harvey Lee Waddell, Jr, 41, of Harmony, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Lee was born in Iredell County on August 26, 1974, and was the son of Deborah Lynn Bass Miller. He was a graduate of West Iredell High School and on August 26, 1999, he married Tina Elaine Vaden Waddell, who survives. He was employed with Amesbury Truth and was also a member of Clear Vision Baptist Church. Lee was preceded in death by his child whom he and his wife lost during pregnancy as well as his maternal grandmother, Reba Bennett. In addition to his wife Tina, he is survived by his mother, Deborah Miller (John); two brothers, Adam Moose (Erica) and Matthew Moose along with three sisters, Angela Faircloth (Mark), Carol Moose, and Nicole Shook. He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Jack Bass, uncle Steve Bennett (Tara), aunt Patricia Pipkins along with his father and mother-in-law, Frankie and Loretta Speaks Vaden. Funeral services for Lee Waddell will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday at Clear Vision Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Bucannan and Pastor Vance Carson officiating. Burial will follow in the Crestview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friendsThursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Nicholson Funeral Home.
