Harold "JR" White, Jr.

Harold “JR” Monroe White, Jr., 64 of Statesville, died Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the Gordon Hospice House following a short illness.
He was born in Lee County, NC to the late Harold M. White, Sr., and Ruth Matthews White. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Carol Solesbee.
JR worked for The Detail Spot. He enjoyed his work there. He was a huge Tarheel fan and loved sports, especially basketball, baseball, and football. He was a San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers fan. JR served his country for 23 years in the US Navy.
Those left to cherish his memory include four daughters, Allison Michaels of Germany, Briana White of CA, Jordan White of CO, Amber White Galeazzi (Blake) of CO, a son, Michael White of CA, two sisters, Tappy Keiger of Statesville, Shelia Coryea of VA, a number of nieces and nephews, Amy Hendry, Crystal Cabrera, Andrea Mebane, RJ Vanhoy, Johnny Wicker, Bonnie Wicker, and the mother of his children, Kristina White.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held  Friday, December 1, 2023, at 10:00 am at New Salem UMC.
