Grady Lynn Osborne

Grady Lynn Osborne, 56, of Statesville, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at his home. Mr. Osborne was born in Iredell County on January 16, 1962 and was the son of Grady Byerley Osborne and the late Verler Mae Shumaker Osborne. He attended Iredell County schools.



Lynn as he was affectionately known loved bluegrass music. He loved drinking coffee, playing "scratch off" and talking on his C.B. radio. He was dearly loved and will be missed.



Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Lisa Renee Garcia of Orlando, FL, three brothers, Sammy Shumaker (Vicky), Phillip Presnell and Randy Osborne, all of Statesville and three sisters, Melissa Mae Dillard, Renee Poole, both of Olin and Tammy Hamm of Statesville. He is also survived by three granddaughters.



A memorial service honoring the life of Lynn Osborne will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 27, 2018, in the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Jordan officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the service. A private family burial will follow at a later date.
