George Henry Greene

Mr. George Henry Greene, 85, of Statesville and formerly of New York and Florida, died Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Gordon Hospice House. Born in Long Island, New York on December 8, 1933, he was a son of the late Robert William Greene and Lillian Ann Lee Greene. He was a retired truck driver. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife and a grandchild. Also preceding him in death were a brother, Robert William Greene, Jr. and a sister, Shirley A. Canon



Survivors include two daughters, Tina Curtis (Michael) of Statesville and Georgia Ann Hovsepian Holloway (Mitch) of Las Vegas, Nevada, along with brothers, William Stanley Greene of Riverhead, New York and Donald Charles Greene of Hampton Bays, New York, 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.



Services celebrating Mr. Greene's life will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Friday, January 4, 2018 at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Albert Rowe officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
