Geneva Anderson

Mrs. Geneva Kay Anderson, 54, of Statesville, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at her home following a brief illness. Mrs. Anderson was born March 11, 1958 in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Margaret Campbell Anderson. She attended Iredell County schools and she was married to Roy Eugene Anderson, who survives. Mrs. Anderson was disability retired and prior to her retirement, was employed with Southern Glove where she worked as a knitter. Mrs. Anderson was of the Baptist faith. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother. In addition to her husband, Roy E. Anderson, Geneva is also survived by three daughters, Crystal Anderson of Harmony, Glenda Southers (Chad) of Hiddenite and Jean O'Quinn (Gregory) of Statesville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren along with two brothers and one sister. Funeral services for Mrs. Anderson will be conducted 3:00 pm at Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Rash officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Monday evening at Nicholson Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date.
