Gary Matthew Jurney

Gary Matthew Jurney, 59 of Winston Salem passed away at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center on August 28, 2021. Gary was born on April 25, 1962, in Mt Airy to Frances Jurney and Pauline Mitchell. He will be missed by many because of his love and care for others. Gary was quick to make friends, because of his gentle spirit. In addition to his father, Frances Jurney he is preceded in death by his brother Billy Jurney. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Virginia Jurney; daughters, Heather Cartrette, Dana Martinez; grandchildren, Brandon Martinez and Rose Cartrette; mother, Pauline Mitchell and her husband Jack; sister, Sandra Tarn and her husband Mark; nieces, Nicki and Taylor. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
