Garret Shane England

Garret Shane England, age 31, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Born on April 15, 1990, he was the son of Scotty "Scott" Harold England and the late Dina Wilcox Gregory.



Garret was a student at North Iredell High School and graduated from Statesville High School in 2008. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and active in the youth ministry. Garret was a Veteran of the United States Army having been stationed in Fort Drum in Jefferson County, NY. He had a passion for music and loved playing his guitar.



He is preceded in death by his birth mother, Dina Wilcox Gregory; his maternal grandparents, Cecil, and Jan Wilcox; and his aunt, Angela Wilcox. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Gracelyn England, Kensington England, Amari England and Zechariah Sizemore; his father, Scotty "Scott" Harold England; his Mom, Julie Christian; his step-mother, Sabrina England; his siblings, Jacob England, Alexis England, Jessica Gray and husband, Josh, Natalie Gregory and Ryhley Gregory; two nieces and two nephews; his paternal Grandparents Floyd and Martha England; his aunts and uncles, Sabrina and Mark Poneleit, Tony and Michelle England, Eric Wilcox, and Jennifer and Jamie Vaughan; and seven cousins.



A Celebration of Garret's Life will be held at 6:00 pm, Saturday, March 5, 2022, in the Chapel of Nicholson Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather following the service at the funeral home.
