Gail Loraine Troutman

Gail Loraine Rogers Troutman, 69, of Statesville, died Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Born in Iredell County on July 22, 1947, she was a daughter of the late George Washington Rogers and Theda Fortner Rogers. Gail was a graduate of Troutman High School in 1965 and formerly worked in textiles, last working for Bali. She dearly loved her grandson. She also loved her dog, Cam and reading and shopping on QVC. She leaves behind many friends at Monticello United Methodist Church and Mountain Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Davidson Troutman on June 2, 2011. Survivors include two sons, Bradley Troutman (Lisa) and Marcus Troutman(Trina), a brother, Dale Rogers (Sue) and a grandson, Austin Troutman. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Monday at Iredell Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jamie Fox officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening at Nicholson Funeral Home from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M.
