Furman Vinson Fant

Mr. Furman Vinson Fant, 59, of Jacksonville, FL passed away December 6, 2020 in Jacksonville. The son of Erufus, Jr. and Dorothy Brown Fant of Thomasville, Mr. Fant honorably served in and retired from the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed playing golf, watching professional football (especially the Minnesota Vikings), and the L.A. Lakers. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fant is survived by his daughter Cherelle Fant and son Vinson Fant (both of Jacksonville, FL.); two sisters Dr. Masherrill Fant Koonce (husband Donnie) of Charlotte,NC and Felicia Fant Tyson of Thomasville, NC; a brother Jerrodd Laroy Fant of Charlotte, NC, Burial with military honors for Mr. Fant is scheduled for December 26, 2020 at 9 am in Salisbury National Cemetery In Salisbury, NC.
