Fred Burette Sigmon

Fred Burette Sigmon, 75, of Statesville, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He was born in Iredell County on August 29, 1941 to the late Fred H. and Rosanna Shuford Sigmon. Mr. Sigmon was a graduate of Statesville Senior High School and was married to Janath Feimster on May 11, 1962. They shared over 54 years of marriage before his passing. He was retired from Magla Products but had worked as a supervisor with Thonet Industries and ran a route for Kerns Bread. Fred's world was his family and he will be missed dearly. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jan; a daughter, Rhonda Martin (Donald); a grandson, Brandon Martin; and a granddaughter, Heather Martin, all of Statesville. Funeral services for Mr. Sigmon will be held 12:00 Noon, Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Henry Cook officiating. Interment will follow in the Iredell Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will visit with friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 Noon at the church prior to the service.
