Franklin "Bud" Delenor Chamberlain

Franklin "Bud" Delenor Chamberlain, 81, of Statesville, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Gordon Hospice House. He was born on October 22, 1936 in Alexander County to the late Margaret Miller Chamberlain and Robert Lee Chamberlain.



Bud was a graduate of Stony Point High School and married Bernice Cline Chamberlain on November 25, 1972. They shared over 45 years of marriage before his passing. He was of Baptist faith and was retired from Blue Ridge Textile after 38 years of service as a colorist.



Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, three sisters, and one granddaughter, Crystal Campbell.



Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Bernice; a son, Darrin Chamberlain (Dina); a daughter, Carole C. Summerell; step-daughter, Sytonia Campbell (Randy); and four grandchildren Graham Summerell, Helen Summerell, Bailey Chamberlain, and Ashden Campbell.



A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 am Monday, April 16, 2018 at Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
