Franklin "Bill" William Crowson, Jr.

Franklin William (Bill) Crowson Jr., 74 of Bradenton, Florida formerly of Statesville, North Carolina died on May 12, 2016 after a long illness. He was born and raised in Statesville, North Carolina, and graduated from Statesville High School, as well as Mitchell College and Appalachian State University. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, father Franklin William Crowson Sr., his mother Sylvia (Gill) Crowson and brother Dennis. He is survived by a daughter and 2 grandchildren as well as a sister-in law, nephew, niece, aunts and cousins. He moved to Florida in 1980 and was employed by Exchange Bank as a Vice President, and later as a master framer for Art & Frame of Sarasota, before retiring in 2002. A graveside services for Mr. Crowson will be held 4:00 pm Friday, May 20, 2016 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Lynn Kunkle officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.
