Eunice Foulks

Mrs. Eunice "Granny" Foulks, 95, of Statesville, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Gordon Hospice House. Mrs. Foulks was born February 14, 1919, in Cleveland, TN, and was the daughter of the late Joe and Nancy Caywood. She attended school in Cleveland, TN and on May 25, 1935, she married Hubert F. Foulks, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Foulks was retired from Scotts Elementary School following 41 years of service. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Nancy Hedrick and Sue Lackey. Mrs. Foulks is survived by one daughter, Billie Grant of Charlotte, two son-in-laws, Duke Hedrick and Roland Lackey, both of Statesville, along with six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Foulks will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Northview Church of Christ with Minister Les Bonnett officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Nicholson Funeral Home is serving the family.
