Mrs. Eulalia Pullen Cook, 88, of Statesville, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Cook was born November 15, 1927, in Richmond County, NC and was the daughter of the late Harry M. Pullen and Clara Pratt Pullen Poston. She was a graduate of Richmond County School and she was married to Allen Cook, who preceded her in death on September 6, 2012. Mrs. Cook was a member of Unity Baptist Church and she was retired from Maple Leaf Health Care. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. She is survived by five sons, W.S. (Bill) Lassiter (Dianne) of Irmo, SC, Richard Lassiter (Maasha) of Charlotte, Robert Lassiter (Ginger) of Statesville, Lawrence Mabry (Betty) of Hiddenite, and Hugh Anderson (Sheila) of Florida and one sister, Gussie Forbis of Clayton, NC. She is also survived by two step-sons, Keith Cook (Joann) of Statesville and Ray Cook (Winter) of Troutman along with one step-daughter, Theresa Hicks (Charlie) of Harmony. She is further survived by 16 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren along with one great-grandchild expected in January. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Cook will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, November 30, 2015, in the Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Keith Bowman and Rev. James Moore officiating. The family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation to Ginger Chambers and Sandra Kiser for the love and care for Mrs. Cook over the past several years and not to mention the unwavering friendship they shared together. It was a great bond that can never be broken. She will be missed by her family and dear friends.
