Edwin Joseph Castillo

Edwin Joseph Castillo, 34 of Lexington, passed away May 5, 2021. He was born February 23, 1987 to Edwin and Vanessa Castillo. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Issac Groves; grandparents, Henry and Wilma Leonard; aunts and uncles, Barbara & Crystal Sechrest, William and Martha Leonard, Carmen Castillo, Francis Clauido, Ted and Cindy Beddingfield; many beloved cousins and friends. Edwin enjoyed life, but most importantly his son, family time and his friends. He had a great love for music, reading, working out, and animals; especially, playing with his dog, Biscuit and his parents dog, Tina Marie. One of Edwin's favorite quotes was, "To be, rather than to seem." A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, May 15 at Freedom Baptist Church, 214 Hillcrest Court, Lexington, NC. Visitation will be from 2-3 pm with the service starting at 3pm.
