Donna Lynn Musick

Donna Lynn Martin Musick, 64, of Statesville, died Thursday, August 30, 2018 at her home. She was an amazing lady who lived her life to the fullest, despite a lengthy illness.



Mrs. Musick was born June 5, 1954, in New Jersey to the late Lee Roy Martin and Ella Clouse Martin. She was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Sipple.



On August 3, 1974, Donna married Warren Alfred Musick and they enjoyed 44 years of marriage before her passing. She was employed by Hickory Chair as a Safety and Environmental Engineer/Coordinator and was a member of Concord Presbyterian Church. Donna was a very giving person who loved people, but her family and her grandchildren particularly brought her joy and happiness. She loved her church and church family, reading, gardening, drinking hot tea, doing things for others, Do-It-Yourself Projects and puzzles.



Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Warren, her mother, Ella Martin, daughter Valerie Roemer, of Statesville, a son, Warren A.M. Musick (Brooke), of Statesville, a grandson, Eric James Roemer, Jr., a granddaughter, Emmaline Rae Musick, 2 brothers, Robert Martin (Beth), of Indiana, Randy Martin (Sue), of Pennsylvania, 3 sisters, Kathleen Chalfant, of Arkansas, Sandra Slack (Larry), of Illinois, Deborah Alonso (Dave) of New Jersey and numerous other family members.



Services celebrating the life of Donna Musick will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, September 2, 2018, at Concord Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Dan Wilkers officiating. The family will greet family and friends from 1:00 to 2:45 pm prior to the service. Burial will be held at a later date.
