Dennis Keith Drum

Dennis Keith Drum, 66, of Sherrills Ford, died unexpectedly Saturday, October 20, 2018 at his residence. He was born on August 15, 1952 in Iredell County to the late Thomas Leroy Drum and Sarah Nell Smith Drum.



Keith was a graduate of North Iredell High School and served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He worked most of his career as a rural mail carrier in the Sherrills Ford area. Keith was able to retire ten years ago so he could enjoy his time on Lake Norman fishing and boating. He loved being outdoors whether it be working in his yard or just enjoying the serenity of the lake.



Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Terri Drum Abshire of Cornelius; his brother Steve Drum (Sharon) of Statesville; and his niece, Candice Drum of Statesville.



A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday October 24, 2018 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Mark Tankersley officiating. The family will speak with friends following the service.
