David Eugene Parker

David Eugene Parker, 67, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Davis Regional Hospital. He was born on October 7, 1951 in Iredell County to the late Walt Parker and Dorothy Weston Harris.



David was a graduate of Statesville Senior High School and was a truck driver his whole career. He was married to Carrie Moss Parker, who survives. He was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and the Lions Club. David loved his family and driving a truck.



Along with parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Lambert.



Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carrie; three daughters, Gina Munday (Eric), Tina Phillips, and Trina Dalton (Gerald); one son, David Parker; 29 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Judy Sweet and Carolyn Manuel.



Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, December 21, 2018 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Salisbury with Pastor John Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in the Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will visit with friends at the church prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 am.
