Darrell Neal Harwell

Mr. Darrell Neal Harwell, 53, of Statesville, died Tuesday in a motorcycle accident in Catawba County. Born October 13, 1962 in Iredell County, he was a son of the late Neal Rhyne Harwell and Becky Gaither Little who survives and with whom he made his home. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Terri Gail Harwell (Scott) of Taylorsville and Jennifer Marie Harwell Upright (Stephen) of Cleveland, a sister, Wanda Wicker (Bruce) of Statesville and grandchildren: Katelan (Katie) Daugherty, Max Upright, Makayla Upright and Lucas Upright. Darrell worked at Fiberix and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with Little Man and Katie and loved his dogs Theo and Blue. Services celebrating Darrell's life will take place on Saturday at 11:00 at 2327 Shelton Ave. # 3 (across from Iredell Memorial Gardens).
