Danny Robert Toppings

Mr. Danny Robert Toppings, 50, of Troutman, died Thursday, December 22, 2016 at his home unexpectedly. Born in Charleston, W. Va., he was a son of Constance Wheeler Rosetta Toppings and the late Daniel Boone Toppings. On August 7, 2010, he married Paula May Loftis Toppings, who survives. Danny worked for Charah as a heavy equipment operator and was an artist who enjoyed drawing cars. He graduated from Gilmer County High School. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Danyelle Nicole Toppings, step sons, Mark Andrew Culbertson and Jeffrey Shane Culbertson, grandsons: Julian Andrew Culbertson and Jake Nathaniel Culbertson, brothers, Daniel Wayne Toppings, David Boone Toppings and Darrin Timothy Toppings and a sister, Debra Lynn Toppings Yeager. Services celebrating Danny's life will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Nicholson Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Ray Kiser officiating.
